The website that I want to talk about today is called’Bilbili”. It’s an online video website which provides a wide range of reality shows, movies and TV series. But the most remarkable character of “Bilbili” is that all the users can type in their thoughts and comments on the screen as a subtitle about the video they are watching which created a very engaging and amusing atmosphere when watching the video. Sometimes, the major users of “Bilbili” are just going for the funny subtitles. It common that you can see a bunch of people watching the movie on this website together while laughing out loud. Normal I will browse this website at night before I get to sleep, searching for some newly updated or top-rated movies or simply just follow the ranking list. But sometimes, if I go visit some friends or when they come to my place, we will watch the movies on “Bilibili” together at any time, cuz I think it’s easier to laugh and let it out with friends than alone. I first come to know this website was a year ago, one of my friend recommended to me, in the beginning I thought what’s fun with that subtitle, so I reluctantly watched one movie. But it turned out to be extremely amusing and we kept giggling throughout the movie, so I end up as a big fan of “Bilibili”. The reason that I think this website is interesting is that, first, a lot of movie and TV series resource is not given on the internet nowadays but “Bilibili” still provides. Second, the funny subtitle of such video became a label of this special online video website and this unique function is not only entertaining but also nowhere else to see. Sometime I even type a lot about the movie’s scenario or my personal comments just for the sake of entertaining and talking with other watchers.

• Have you got some online learning experience?

Well, I do have a lot of online learning experience, I learnt Dutch from internet and acquired a good level of it. I think the internet is a short-cut to learning useful knowledge, we can easily find all kinds of learning material on internet and if we can use them properly, it could be as effective as the real class.

• What is your opinion about the charge of the social network?

I think the social network should be totally free. Give an example of the most famous online chatting tool called “wechat”. I can almost say that everybody is using wechat now and we are getting used to the no-charge days. However, free charge doesn’t mean no profit, wechat is now operating with many common software say like online payment, lottery, taxi and ect, they have already being super lucrative.

• How do you think of websites like Facebook?

Personally, I really like Facebook, I think it eased the way people communicate with each other and get everyone on this planet way much closer than before by creating a virtual platform for people with different nationalities and background to exchange their ideas and thought and share their lives.
