The chart provides information about the proportion of both genders eating 5 kinds of fruits and vegetables per day in different age groups in the United Kingdom of year 2006.
We can see that except for the people in over 75 age group, there were more females than males consuming 5 kinds of fruits & vegetables per day in other 6 age groups.
Around 17% of the males in the 15-25, 26-40 and 41-55 age groups ate sufficient quantity of fruits and vegetables every day and the figures for their female counterparts were slightly larger at approximately 19%.
Most people in 56-65 age group (24% of men vs 27% of women) consumed 5 kinds of fruits and vegetables daily while marginally fewer men (21%) and women (22%) from 66-74 age group did this.
