The plans below show the layout of a university's sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

剑桥雅思小作文之地图题写作建议：把图中变化较大和变化没那么大的部分区分开。这实际上也是 sports center 的核心部分，其中只有 gym 变成了大约2倍，其他部分没有变化。

考生不会表达的信息：这块区域，叫做 the sports centre building或者 the main building.此外，这个区域的 changing room 和 seatings，共同叫做 swimming facilities.如果觉得文章字数过多，可以只写 swimming facilities

考生容易忽视的信息

gym 沿着 sports center 的北边 stretch along the north side，gym 扩张的方向是向东

按照编号的顺序

1. 西侧的 outdoor courts 变成了 lersure pool

2. 东侧的 outdoor courts 变成了 sports hall 和 dance studios

3. 前门的区域(包含 reception)，新增了 sports shop 和 cafe

不会表达的信息：这块区域3，叫做reception area

容易忽视的信息

The upper map shows the plan of a university sports centre as it is now and the lower map shows the same building once it has been redeveloped.

Overall, the existing 25-metre pool and surrounding facilities will remain largely unchanged. However, the building will be substantially expanded by means of the addition of a leisure pool and a range of other new facilities. 总的来说，现有的25米高的游泳池和周围设施将基本保持不变。然而，该建筑将通过增加一个休闲游泳池和一系列其他新设施来大大扩展。

Currently, the sports centre building consists only of a 25m pool, related swimming facilities and a gym that stretches along the north side.
