开头段写作方法 – 针对题干进行改写

具体方式：

①改变词性

②同义替换

注意事项：

① 一般来说，开头段中除了背景改写外，要明确表达自己的观点和态度

② 但Discuss both views and give your opinion, 这种提问方式下，自己的观点可以不放在开头。

实例讲解1：

Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.(C8-1)

Some people ❶ believe that it is parents‘ duty to teach their kids to be qualified members of society; while others ❷ argue that schools should take over such responsibility. ❸This is a matter to be debated in the light of several factors before any conclusion can be drawn.

❶ ❷两个部分都是对原题干进行改写。既包括简单的单词上同义替换，例如think替换为believe, argue等，good members替换成qualified members; 同时也有含义上的改写。例如should do sth 改写为 it is someone’ duty/responsibility…

❸ 因为本题属于讨论双方观点并给出自己意见，所以开头段不一定需要写出自己态度。可以采用一句话过渡到对两个观点的分析。

实例讲解2：

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?(C3-2)

❶ Many people think that due to ❷ the rapid development of new technology, the conventional life style and skills will vanish, and therefore it is meaningless to protect them. ❸However, I believe that the precious traditions will be preserved if technology can be involved.

❶ 对原题干进行改写。既包括简单的单词上同义替换，例如ways of life 替换为life style，traditional 替换成conventional; 同时也有含义上的改写。例如due to…., therefore….

❷ 体现出了对词性的改变。原题干中为动词，改写后为名词

❸ 本题最好能在开头段就突出自己观点
