【雅思口语P2】Describe an interesting conversation you had with others

Well, as far as I can remember, about a couple of years ago, I had an interesting conversation with a Canadian girl in a café. That was really impressive since it was the first time I talked to a foreigner in English. You know, before the conversation, we were totally strangers to each other. Both of us were having coffee and self-studying there. Then I noticed that she was studying Chinese, which surprised me. At that time, I’ve already learned some basic words and sentences for communication, but I hadn’t had the chance to use them. So I made up my mind to talk to her. Then I said hello to her and asked whether I could have a talk with her. She was delighted and let me have a sit. We had a really nice conversation, she told me where she came from, why she came to China and learned Chinese, and I also shared something about myself. It was interesting when she tried to speak Chinese. Although she could not speak Chinese fluently, she tried hard to make me understand. I also taught her some Chinese slangs. And I glad that I could teach Chinese to a foreigner.
