【雅思口语Part2】Describe a handmade gift you gave to your friends2

I would like to talk about a gift I gave at my mum’s thirtieth birthday party. It’s a piece of sweet memory.
My mum was born in March, a month when flowers are in bloom. At 8:00 pm on my mum’s thirtieth birthday, all the guests arriving, the party began in the courtyard. In a heartfelt atmosphere, my mum greeted all the invited guests, including her working fellows and our neighbors. Afterwards, my mum individually toasted everybody present.
While all the guests were enjoying the feast,I surprised mum with an original gift which had taken me a long time to prepare. It was a bunch of azaleas like a fire that I had spent a lot of time picking and wrapping. And though maybe not as delicate or elegant as bouquets you can see on the shelf of flower stores, It is really a piece of work. I spent two days picking the flowers in a mountain, and after some quick study online,I follow some guides and did all the cutting and pruning work to give it a good look. Also, I search the whole town for some beautiful wrapping paper. To to pit all, I wrote a note and pin it on the flower saying: Mom, you are the best.I love you always.
My mom accepted my gift with a big smile and a bear hug. We both were not good at sharing inner feelings with each other, but I know mom love me even more at that silent moment .
