I have a valuable experience of waiting for someone. It was in 2010, I went the king’s singers shanghai concert. The king’s singers was one of the most famous and popular Acapella group. They were first founded in Cambridge 1968, the original group member were all Cambridge students. Throughout the decades, they have released over 150 albums and left a deep impression of their one of the kind singing style and they classic suits. 2010 shanghai concert was their first open show in China and they decided to hold the concert in Shanghai musical hall which was newly-removed and redecorated back in 2010. After I enjoyed a wonderful concert, I went to the exit of backstage to wait for them with a good friend. The reason why I decided to wait for them and to see them in person was pretty simple. I was already a big fan of them for two years and I dreadfully want to see them. I even take a brochure of them hoping that I will get all of their signatures. After waiting for approximately 40 mins, they finally showed up and I start to shout and yell. They were also very happy to see me cuz everyone of them was wearing a smile on face. I came to the front and shake their hands in turn which my friend also did. Then I say a lot of compliments to them and talked about more of their music with them in English. They were also amazed by my authentic British accent and my acknowledgement about their music. We took a family picture together at last and I was lucky to have all of their signatures too. I can say this could be the most willing waiting I’ve ever done. The picture that I tool with them and the little brochure with their signatures were still well-preserved in my home and I always keep them highly safe with me because for they are the most precious gift I’ve ever had.
