When I was four, my great-grand parent brought me to the amusement park to play. He was already in his 70s at that time, but he was always hale(精神矍铄的) and radiant(容光焕发的,joyful) with me. He would watch me with a glowing(欢乐的,cheerful) and satisfied countenance(表情), fixing his eyes on me like I was the angel. Sometimes he would buy some snacks from the peddler and gave me when I was exhausted(疲惫的,tired). He liked to eat bean cakes so he was always buying those for me. Yet, I was so young to understand the essence of piety. Sometimes I would throw the cakes away because I wanted something new to eat. My great-grand parent would never be angry with me despite I was such an irksome(讨厌的,troublesome) child at that time. Instead, he would pick up the cakes and wrapped up them. I don’t know whether he would eat them later because he adhered to(遵守 ,believe)frugality(节俭,austerity) . He passed away several years later and no one accompanied me there in the next few years since I really dare not return to the amusement park because it always conjured up the time I spent with my great-grand parent, which would dampen my spirit for the next few days. But now, I yearn for an opportunity to come back to the amusement park again because it is the only place I can commemorate(纪念) the time my dear great-grand parent coil(宠溺,spoil) me in his late years and I really need to face up to some scars on my heart, instead of living in self-reproach for not treating my great-grand parent well.
