The bar chart illustrates the megawatt of wind energy produced in four nations around the world in the period ranging from 1985 to 2000.
It is noticeable that Germany had always generated the most wind energy for the first 15 years and the amount of this clean energy reached a peak at approximately 1650 megawatts before dropping to 1500 megawatts in 2000.
Regarding to India and Denmark, there were 200 megawatts produced in both of them in the year 1985 and their figures both doubled in 1990. The following decade witnessed a dramatic growth in their amount and the output in Denmark finally exceeded that in Germany, with the highest figure of 1700 megawatts in 2000. As for US, the increase in this energy output was steady per five years.
Overall, it can be seen that the output of wind energy in three countries (India, Denmark and US) had been climbing during this 20-year period and the biggest rise was seen in Denmark.
