One can simply log onto any of the social media platforms and chat, message, or call the other person immediately. Moreover, social media has given rise to online groups, which allow people with similar interests to connect and interact regularly.

However, some people believe that social media-based communication is less efficient than face-to-face interaction. They point out that social media messages lack facial expressions, tone of voice, and other nonverbal cues, which can lead to misunderstandings and沟通的缺点arguments.
