Additionally, social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram have allowed people to share their lives with their friends, making it seem like they are always connected.
However, social media has also created a new breed of loners, as many people are more interested in updating their social media accounts than engaging in real-life conversations. For example, while at a party or a gathering, some people can be found taking photos of themselves and their friends and posting them on Facebook or Instagram, rather than engaging in conversation with the people present. This behavior can create a barrier between people and prevent them from connecting on a deeper level.
Moreover, social media has also been responsible for creating fake news and spreading rumors.
