【雅思口语P2】Describe a subject you didn’t like before but like now

When I was in junior high school, I dislike geography the most. For me, it was like a pain in the neck at that time, I often got the lowest scores in geography. I can’t tell you exact reasons for why I didn’t like it since it was a long time ago, I almost forget the reasons. But I guess because it’s a little bit complex for a teenager to distinguish the climate in different zones and the ocean currents in different seasons. I remember that time, we also had to memorize the locations of many countries. It’s really difficult to memorize the shape and the locations of these countries. I often felt frustrated after the geography test. I think that’s the main reason why I didn’t like it. But now, things become different. As a college student, I’m keen on traveling. I would like to travel around the world for the rest of my life, so the knowledge of geography has become a necessity for my ambition. I need to know some geographic information of the place I want to go, so I start to learn geography again and now I find this subject is so interesting and useful. It helps me a lot when I do my plan for the next trip.
