Well, I can’t really think of any good service I received, so I’m gonna talk about one that my girlfriend had. A travel agency in Japan, or to be precise, in Kyoto, organizes bridal ceremonies(婚礼) for single women and this is exactly what my girlfriend had although she is is not single.
It was two months ago. She went to Kyoto with a couple of friends and they happened to be staying within spitting distance of(离...很近) the agency. They saw the ad of the service and out of curiosity(出于好奇), my girlfriend signed up for(报名参加) it. The agency offered this ‘solo wedding(个人婚礼)’ package which included choosing your own special gown, bouquet(婚纱、花束), hairstyle and limousine(豪车) service. It cost her an arm and a leg(花了好多钱), but she told me the experience was well worth it.
Anyway, as for who she had this service with ...well, as I said earlier, she was with several friends. But it was only her who had the service. All the others hesitated because of the high price and decided not to do it.
According to my girlfriend, she really enjoyed it because, first of all, it was a different style of wedding ceremony and she was really delighted to have tried it. Plus, when she was in the gorgeous gown she chose herself, it totally boosted her sense of self-esteem(增加了自信心) and she felt she was the most beautiful person in the world. Anyway, she was on top of the world(很开心) that day and I think that’s worth a million dollars.
