Where I went and when:
I visited Bali in July last year. It's a stunning tropical paradise known for its beautiful beaches, lush jungles, and rich cultural heritage. The timing was perfect as it was the dry season, which meant clear skies and sunny days almost throughout my stay.
What I did:
There were so many highlights! First off, I spent a few days relaxing at Seminyak Beach. The sand was soft, the water was crystal clear, and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. I also took a day trip to Uluwatu Temple, perched precariously on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple itself is a marvel of Indonesian architecture, and the sunset views from there are simply unforgettable.
I ventured into the jungle to explore the Taman Sari Water Palace, a historic site that offers a glimpse into Bali's royal past. The intricate carvings and lush gardens were a feast for the eyes. Additionally, I indulged in a traditional Balinese spa treatment, which was a blend of massage, herbs, and meditation – a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate.
